Aroma: (12/12) 
Dancing Man Wheat is a Hefeweizen, the bottle states it is a "true Hefeweizen that is 100% bottle fermented". Just like the Hefe's in Germany I've had, the aroma is spot on with of banana and clove esters.
Appearance: (3/3) 
A perfect straw color, hazy from the wheat and the bottling yeast. It poured very effervescently with bubbles racing to the top. A quick swirl brings back the head for a few minutes. Laces well.
Flavor: (19/20) 
Oh, wow! The aroma brings me back to Germany with its spot-on aroma; the flavor does exactly the same. Great banana flavors, wheat malt present and there is a little tartness on the finish; perfect!
Mouthfeel: (5/5) 
A nice medium body, as most Hefe's. As noted earlier, a little tartness on the back end, like true German Hefeweizens.
Overall Impression: (10/10) 
This is by far the best American brewed Hefeweizen that I have ever had, not even close! Summit, Schell's, Flying Dog, Shiner and many others haven't even sniffed the level of perfection that New Glarus has created here! Brings me back to Munich!

Aroma: (11/12) 
The nose is an interesting combination of Hefeweizen (banana and cloves) and Pale ale (citrus and floral). This aroma emminates summer and sunshine!
Appearance: (3/3) 
A very nice straw color, on the order of a hefeweizen. The head is a big one, probably two fingers. Head sticks around for a long time and the lacing is quite impressive.
Flavor: (18/20) 
Wow! This is one beautiful beer! The German-trained Master brewer has hit a homerun with this one. It's amazing how it starts out on the front end as a pale ale and then on the back, it ends as a hefeweizen.
Mouthfeel: (5/5) 
The mouthfeel is extremely smooth, with a touch of bitterness, but not dry at all. I could swirl this around in my mouth for a long time before swallowing!
Overall Impression: (9/10) 
Dan Carey is one of America's great brewers! He brews German style beers like no other. What a thirst quenching brew from one of the best breweries this country has to offer!

Aroma: (11/12)
A definite tart and sour aroma! Possible oak
discernability, very pleasant.

Appearance: (3/3)
Brownish red with a nice head that does seem
to retreat rather quickly.  Head is a pinkish
hue and very bubbly and effervescent.

Flavor: (19/20)
Wow!  Extremely fantastic flavor.  Very nice
tart and sour kick! Not too sour and not too
sweet.  Cranberries add the perfect tartness
for this winner.

Mouthfeel: (5/5)
Very effervescent, minute resemblence to 
champaigne. Body is light and is very 
refreshing.  Very clean and well made.  This
beer isn't very dry, which I would have expected.

Overall Impression: (10/10)
New Glarus comes out with another winner! 
Basically a cranberry sour with a fantastic
tartness to compliment.  A fantastic job
balancing these two characteristics.  This
is one for the sour and non-sourheads, alike.

Aroma: (11/12)
Beautiful tart cherry aroma. A large amount
of sweetness present, as well.

Appearance: (3/3)
Nice reddish - brown hue.  Pours a nice head;
these are highly carbonated!  Head does
dissipate rather quickly, but that is to be
expected.

Flavor: (19/20)
Cherries immediately upfront!  The cherry
flavor lingers and then the tartness and
sweetness kick in and doesn't really
fade.  Excellent!
 
Mouthfeel: (5/5)
Highly carbonated and amount of bubbles
is definitely evident.  Body is light to 
medium.

Overall Impression: (10/10)
A cherry wonder of the world! This Belgian
Red is extremely well made and is the
best American made Kriek / Lambic I've had
and from reading further, I guess everybody
else thinks the same.

Aroma: (6/12)
Almost no aroma to be found, very faint citrus/orange.

Appearance: (3/3)
Straw golden cloudiness,
almost witbier/hefeweizen-like. Pours a fantastic
head. The head dissipates quickly and doesn't lace
the glass on it's way down.

Flavor: (12/20)
Low hop character. There is very little flavor to this
beer! In the absence of flavor, the beer is clean.
I wish I could write more to describe it, but there
really aren't any more adjectives to use when
flavor isn't really present.

Mouthfeel: (3/5)
Medium body with medium carbonation, a little
creaminess present. No lingering tastes on the
front or back of the tongue.

Overall Impression: (5/10)
A very strange beer coming from New Glarus.
Every beer I've ever had from them has had
a very distinguishable taste/flavor. Flavors
are very light to almost non-existent. It is a
very easy to drink beer, but with very little
redeeming characteristics. The bottle
mentions this is a hoppy golden ale, I personally
experienced neither!
