511 S. Kalamazoo Ave
Marshall, MI18C. Belgian Tripel Ale
Mildly fruity esters. Light caramel malts evident.
Spiciness with coriander undertones. Definite
alcohol aroma, but par with the tripel category.
Appearance: (3/3)
Light amber / golden color from
malts. Very good color with effervescence.
Lacing doesn't last as the beer moves south.
Head quickly fades, I wasn't even able to grab
my camera fast enough.
Flavor: (17/20)
Malty bite, with nice bittering hops and
crispness. The finish is dryish and sweet.
Very nice mix of malts and hops!

Nice body and depth; creamy. Nice bite on
the back of the tongue. Beautiful kick!
Warms with no ill effects.
A very nice example of a tripel. I expect
no less from Dark Horse! Very clean and
